On June 17, 2019, the 10th CPhI China-World CEO Summit was held in Shanghai. The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products released “The 4th Top 100 International Pharmaceutical Companies” list and Qidu Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. was awarded the “Most Promising Pharmaceutical Companies” among the list. Gong Weizheng, general manager assistant and international business director of Qidu Pharmaceutical, attended the meeting.

Initiated by CCCMHPIE since 2016, the selection activity of “Top 100 Internationalized Pharmaceutical Companies” is the most authoritative and influential in pharmaceutical internationalization. The activity is to promote China’s pharmaceutical internationalization and propagate global strategy benchmarking enterprises to the international market, encourage international innovation, and increase the international recognition and influence of leading companies in China’s pharmaceutical internationalization. The Top 100 Awards include Excellent Suppliers and Partners in International Market(Top 60), Leading Formulation Suppliers(Top 20) and Most Promising Pharmaceutical Companies(Top 20). The activity is based on performance index such as product export, international registration, overseas mergers and acquisitions and international cooperation etc., and the final award list is selected through the comprehensive score ranking of public WeChat voting, CPhI overseas audience voting and expert selection. These awarded companies will be publicized through CPhI global and China exhibition cooperation media and other channels.

Qidu Pharmaceutical has developed export business since the 1980s and established business relationships with more than 80 countries and regions in Africa, South America, Central Asia, West Asia and Southeast Asia. It has passed official pharmacy inspections in dozens of countries and obtained more than 50 international registration certificates. “Qidu; QD” and figurative mark  (category 3, 5, 16) have obtained Madrid trademark registration certificates. The award of “Most Promising Pharmaceutical Companies” in pharmaceutical internationalization is the affirmation of the business development height, internationalization strategy and international market performance over the years.
