Formerly Zibo Linzi Pharmaceutical Factory, founded in 1976, restructured in 1998 and renamed Qidu Pharmaceutical Group in 2013. It has 9 subsidiaries, 7 industrial parks, 1,500 mu of planned area, over 5,000 employees and nearly 5 billion yuan in total assets.

Since restructuring, the company has focused on the "Five Persistences and Two Builds" to achieve the "Two Leaps", with major economic indicators increasing a hundredfold. The "Five Persistences" are: increasing investment and expanding scale; integrating industry-university-research with independent R&D; strengthening marketing and brand building; prioritizing quality, science & technology and talents; and enhancing leadership and team building.

The "Two Builds" are: a market-oriented striver culture focusing on long-term hard work and value creation; and a distinctive "Four-in-One" family culture. The "Two Leaps" are: from a small local factory to a Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Enterprise, and from a single product structure to a "6+1" business cluster.

Its product structure includes one basic product (large-volume injections), ten therapeutic areas and six business sectors covering pharmaceutical preparations, APIs, packaging, medical consumables, biopharmaceuticals and TCM & big health.

Its core product, large-volume injections, has an annual capacity of 2 billion bottles/bags. It also produces 1 billion PP ampoule injections, 10 billion oral tablets/capsules and 5,000 tons of characteristic APIs annually.

The company has a National Enterprise Technology Center, a Postdoctoral Research Station and multiple innovation platforms. It has established strategic cooperation with domestic and foreign universities and enterprises.

Focusing on ten therapeutic areas, it has 273 drug production approvals, 47 products passing consistency evaluation, 301 authorized patents and 155 R&D projects underway.

In recent years, it has promoted digital empowerment, built a "One Body, Two Wings, Three Supports" safety system, implemented a "Three Wholes and One Optimization" quality model, and improved operational efficiency through distinctive cultures.
