Director Li Jia of Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica Visits Qidu Pharma for Inspection and Exchange

On February 19, Director Li Jia of the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM), Chinese Academy of Sciences, accompanied by Liu Gang, General Manager of Zibo Baijirongchuang Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd., visited Qidu Pharma for inspection and exchange. Zhang Jingshuai, Member of the Standing Committee of Linzi District Committee and Deputy District Head, along with relevant leaders from Linzi Economic Development Zone, attended the event. Zheng Jiaqing, Chairman of Qidu Pharma, attended the event and delivered a speech. Relevant personnel from Qidu Pharma Research Institute participated in the event.

Director Li Jia and his delegation visited the drug production workshop and the intelligent warehousing center to gain a detailed understanding of the company's production and operation. He highly praised Qidu Pharma's practices, including introducing world-leading technological equipment to lead industry upgrades, proactively laying out cutting-edge products and technologies in biopharmaceuticals, modern traditional Chinese medicine, and specialty APIs, and practicing the "three-brand-in-one" culture (corporate brand, product brand, and personal brand) and the culture of striving. He introduced the historical evolution, research teams, innovative drug research progress, and transformation of scientific achievements of SIMM and Baijirongchuang. He expressed gratitude to Qidu Pharma for its support to SIMM and Baijirongchuang in recent years and hoped that both parties would strengthen information sharing, expand cooperation areas, and promote the implementation of more scientific achievements based on their previous friendly collaboration.

Zheng Jiaqing welcomed Director Li Jia and his delegation and introduced the company's recent reforms, project construction, scientific research development, and economic operations. He affirmed the advanced R&D concepts and well-equipped experimental conditions of SIMM and Baijirongchuang. He pointed out that Qidu Pharma's rapid and healthy development in recent years has benefited from its persistent focus on investment, project expansion, and scale growth, as well as its dual-path approach of independent R&D and industry-academia-research collaboration. He expressed hope that Qidu Pharma and SIMM would further deepen cooperation to accelerate the R&D and commercialization of innovative drugs. The Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, formerly known as the National Peiping Research Institute of Materia Medica, was established in 1932 and is the oldest comprehensive innovative drug research institution in Chinese history.
